Specialist private service for families and schools across Egypt and the Gulf
At Nebras Al Hikma Education Consultancy (Hikma.education), we offer the kind of intensive, caring support you would expect from an Inclusion & Engagement team in a top UK school, delivered privately to families and schools in the Middle East.
What we do
We help remove barriers so that young people can stay in education and reach their potential.
Our role with young people
- Remove barriers to learning so they can take part in school life again.
- Promote effective participation and raise aspirations in school, university and at home.
- Help them reach their academic and personal potential with realistic, step-by-step plans.
Safeguarding and wellbeing at the centre
Our support is always child-centred and follows international safeguarding standards such as Keeping Children Safe in Education.
- We take any concern about safety, abuse, neglect or exploitation seriously.
- We offer early help, stepping in before problems escalate.
- We work within each school’s policies and local regulations, while following best practice from UK safeguarding guidance.
How we support each young person
Structured, practical help for behaviour, emotions and learning.
Individual plans and mentoring
- We manage a clear support plan and caseload for every pupil or student referred to us.
- We offer one-to-one mentoring, small-group sessions and in-class strategies (online or on site, depending on the setting).
- Behaviour and emotional regulation
- School refusal and attendance
- Peer conflict and friendship issues
- Study skills, organisation and motivation
Responding when things go wrong
We respond to incidents in class or at home and help schools and parents put in place consistent behaviour and support plans.
Our aim is to keep young people safely engaged in education, not to push them out of it.
Working with schools and families
We join the adults around the young person and help everyone pull in the same direction.
Partnership with home and school
- We build trusting relationships with young people and their families.
- We liaise with teachers, heads of year, counsellors, SEN or inclusion leads and senior leaders.
- We contribute to reports and meetings with outside professionals where needed.
Key meetings and transitions
- We support behaviour panels, reintegration meetings and transitions to new schools or courses.
- Parents or schools can commission us directly, and we wrap around the young person just as an internal inclusion team would.
Tracking progress and next steps
Clear records, regular reviews and honest recommendations.
Monitoring what changes
- We monitor behaviour, attendance and engagement over time.
- We keep clear, confidential records of concerns, actions and outcomes.
Knowing when to step up or step down
- We regularly review each plan and advise when support can be stepped down.
- We also identify when a higher level of intervention or further assessment is needed.
Based in the Middle East, aligned with international standards
We work with international and local schools, universities and families across Egypt and the Gulf.
Our service is private and flexible: families or schools can refer directly. We respect local culture, law and school policies, while aligning with UK and international safeguarding and SEND or SEMH standards.
